A huge new David Moyes claim has been made via agents of summer signings being lined up by West Ham.

Debate has raged of late regarding the future of David Moyes at West Ham.

With a host of highly regarded managers such as Brendan Rodgers, Mauricio Pochettino and Graham Potter out of work it is safe to say speculation will swirl through to the summer.

In a climate of hire and fire in the Premier League, Moyes has been under intense pressure for some time with a host of managers linked as his potential replacement at West Ham.

Hammers majority stakeholder David Sullivan has been consistent in his backing of Moyes despite West Ham’s struggles in the league this season.

Supporters are desperately hoping they have the old West Ham back after the thrilling 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.

The team looked like the West Ham of the last two seasons under Moyes as they showed real character, aggression and resilience to claw their way back.

The vastly improved display and approach has re-opened the great Moyes debate. And it is fair to say the manager’s future is fiercely dividing opinion among some supporters.

A report last week made an incredible claim that Sullivan and the Hammers board have decided to part ways with Moyes this summer even if he keeps the club up and they win the Conference League.

Talk elsewhere is that the club will assess the situation at the end of the season.

Now a huge new Moyes claim has been made via agents of summer signings being lined up by West Ham.

The Daily Mail claims Moyes is increasingly likely to leave in the summer.

And the report states that agents and intermediaries of players West Ham are looking to potentially sign this summer have been told there will be a change of manager.

“West Ham manager David Moyes’ future beyond this season is under increasing doubt with the the process of identifying potential successors ahead of next season underway…” the report states.

“While the hierarchy have fallen short of dismissing Moyes mid-season, there is a growing sense that both parties will part ways ahead of the 2023-24 campaign. Moyes’ existing contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

“Sources have indicated the task of considering contenders to replace Moyes has begun, while it is also understood that intermediaries of potential summer signings are also expecting a change in the head coach position…

“It is now looking increasingly likely that the Hammers will have a new manager at helm before next season.”

Rodgers and Potter are two of several names mentioned as being on West Ham’s shortlist.

One man who thinks West Ham will be making a huge mistake to part company with Moyes is Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.
