A Hammers fan has mistakenly just been sold a Manchester City umbrella in the West Ham United club shop.
West Ham have been awful over the past eight days – the football has been absolutely atrocious, but the spotlight is on the club for very different reasons today!

Although David Moyes has steadied the ship in East London over the past few years, there is a still a certain pantomime feel about the club.

From the ticket fiasco in March of this year when fans received tickets with the wrong names printed on them for our Europa Conference League clash with AEK Larnaca, to the continual problems with the London Stadium, there is always something going on at West Ham it seems.
And now the club have made one of the most laughable errors of all-time, as shown below via Jamie Bennett’s photo on Twitter:
Wow, there have been some really big cock-ups at West Ham over the years, but this one surely has to take the biscuit!
I’m not being funny, but how did that even happen in the first place? I would love to know the story behind it.
It undoubtedly has something to do with the packaging from the manufacturer, but so much for quality control checks once the club receive the goods!
Hopefully the lad gets his Manchester City umbrella changed to a Hammers one in the West Ham shop sooner rather than later. Deary me…
