Leading pundit Gary Neville admits he got it all wrong over West Ham star Declan Rice after Overlap interview due to be released soon.
The world has been slowly waking up to West Ham talisman Rice’s supreme talent.
The Hammers ace has established himself as one of the best midfielders around over the last couple of years.

Much to West Ham’s disdain that has attracted attention from some of the world’s top clubs too.
Rice has had to gradually earn the respect of many rival fans and pundits with top performance after top performance for club and country over the last couple of years.
But no matter how good the 22-year-old has been for West Ham and England he has always had one consistent doubter, Sky Sports pundit Neville.

Neville has been repeating the same old tired rhetoric that he is not convinced West Ham star Rice is a top class midfielder and may well be a better centre-back.
When that opinion was put to Rice recently he labelled it ‘laughable’.
West Ham fans often give Neville stick over his stance on Rice.
But to the popular pundit’s credit he has now admitted in a post on his LinkedIn account that he got it all wrong over Rice after interviewing him for the latest episode of YouTube show The Overlap – which will be released soon.

Gary Neville admits he got it all wrong over West Ham star Declan Rice after Overlap interview
“Thought of the Week: “Don’t go too early”,” Neville said on his LinkedIn account.
“This is something that I often say to myself in punditry . You form a view on something either in haste or we always tell ourselves sayings like “trust your first instincts”, “I knew I didn’t like them after 5 mins”.
“However I interviewed Declan Rice this week for the overlap and I judged him as a young player at West Ham.
“I have to say I got it completely wrong. What an outstanding young person. Authoritative, confident, humble and quite simply the most impressive young footballer I’ve interviewed in 11 years.
“He’s also a fantastic talent and I went too early!”

West Ham fans will be eager to catch the Overlap interview with Rice.
But credit where it is due to Neville for acknowledging his error of judgment and putting it right.
It promises to be an interesting watch.
