Thomas Tuchel wanted to sell Chelsea striker Armando Broja to West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Guardian who claim that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly vetoed Tuchel and not only decided to keep Broja, but offered him a shiny new six-year deal as well!

The Scot ended up signing Gianluca Scamacca instead, but in spite of that, he still wanted to prise Broja away from Chelsea as well (talkSPORT).
It seems as though Thomas Tuchel wasn’t standing in the Hammers’ way either…
Thomas Tuchel wanted to sell Armando Broja to West Ham
The German was sacked from his role as Chelsea manager yesterday.
Many outlets have been reporting about disharmony between the Chelsea players, Todd Boehly and Tuchel.
And The Guardian alluded to that in their report today. They suggest that Thomas Tuchel wanted to sell Armando Broja to West Ham but Boehly refused to let him go and offered him a new deal instead.
The Sun journalist Tom Barclay recently told Give Me Sport that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wanted around £40 million for the young forward in the summer.

It’s shame for us that the Blues owner didn’t let Broja join us. He would have been an exceptional addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.
We can’t be too disappointed though – Gianluca Scamacca will undoubtedly prove to be a great signing for West Ham.
Who knows? Perhaps West Ham will make another move to sign Broja at some point in the future.
Thomas Tuchel and Todd Boehly disagreeing on what to do with the 20-year-old striker this summer seemingly played a huge role in the German’s sacking.
How different things could have been for everyone involved had Chelsea sold Broja to West Ham.
