Even a Sky Sports anchor has suggested West Ham must address their major issue over striker options after a David Moyes claim.
Usually the role of a presenter on sports shows is to be objective and impartial.
So it says everything that perhaps the most prominent man in that position right now felt compelled to convey some opinion about West Ham on Sunday.
When it comes to West Ham and strikers it too often feels like groundhog day.
Gianluca Scamacca joined a long list when he became the 51st West Ham striker signing in the last 13 years.
But, like far too many of the others – including number 52 Danny Ings who followed in January – the Italian failed to hit it off at West Ham.

Striker light?
Sold to Atalanta after just one season, it says everything about West Ham’s difficulties in signing a proper forward that he was not replaced.
That’s despite most fans and pundits agreeing for many years a top striker must be a priority for the Hammers.
At nearly 34 and without a goal since August, Michail Antonio looks to have had his day as a Premier League forward.
Young star Divin Mubama is refusing to sign a new deal. And don’t even get West Ham fans started on Ings.

Sky Sports anchor suggests West Ham must sign striker
Fans feel the failure to sign a striker in the summer will end up costing West Ham in the race for the European spots.
David Moyes insisted he had enough in that position with Jarrod Bowen now seen as a striker option.
But even a Sky Sports anchor suggests West Ham must address major issue over striker options after that Moyes claim.
Dave Jones is Sky Sports’ main football presenter these days.
And he highlighted frustrations among West Ham fans over their lack of forward options – pointing out that Nottingham Forest had three bona fide strikers to choose from.

Can Steidten find Antonio heir?
“Could you argue, with all the qualities listed, that he (Bowen) is better suited to being in a position where he has flourished, where he has scored seven goals this season – on the right hand side?” Jones said on Sky Sports Super Sunday.
“Maybe that central (striker) position is still an area that West Ham fans feel need addressing as they move forward into January.”
Indeed it is.
Despite other clubs finding quality forwards, Moyes claims he has found it mission impossible, saying there is a dearth of talent worldwide.
West Ham have been linked with a plethora of strikers in the summer and ahead of the January window.
We can only hope that technical director Tim Steidten can find the right one for West Ham now he is in charge of recruitment.
