David Moyes is under huge pressure in his role as West Ham manager, and Villa will be smelling blood heading into this weekend’s game.

However, the visitors definitely have some big injury concerns…

West Ham boost with Aston Villa missing key men

Villa boss Unai Emery faced the media this morning ahead of the big Premier League clash in East London on Sunday.

And the Spaniard responded when asked to provide an injury update, as quoted by AVFC.co.uk:

“(Boubacar) Kamara is not ready for Sunday but he is going well, his injury is going well. I was speaking to him this morning and it’s going well, but not enough for Sunday. Diego Carlos is training every day with his process being comfortable. He’s a possibility on Sunday for the first time, included in the squad, which is very good news. (Philippe) Coutinho is still injured. (Leander) Dendoncker had a domestic accident, he is progressing this week, training with us but not involved in the normal training sessions.”

Not having Kamara, Coutinho and Dendoncker to call upon will be a massive blow for Villa. The possibility of Diego Carlos returning to action will be a big boost for them though.

The key for West Ham will be making sure that our performance against Aston Villa is the best that it can possibly be.

And if if it, then I foresee no issues for us at the London Stadium on Sunday.
