Dream West Ham United managerial appointment has been officially named as the new Belgium manager in shock move.
David Moyes is under real pressure in his role as manager of the Hammers, and Domenico Tedesco is one man who has been linked with taking over from the Scot (the Telegraph).

The 37-year-old Italian is an incredibly forward-thinking, tactically versatile and flexible manager.

West Ham would have undoubtedly been on the right trajectory, had David Sullivan brought the ex-RB Leipzig manager to the London Stadium.
However, that definitely won’t be happening anytime soon…
Domenico Tedesco appointed as Belgium manager
The 37-year-old has just been officially named as the new manager of the Belgium national team (The Athletic).
At his age, taking an international job is a really strange move in my opinion.
And annoyingly for West Ham, it means that he is now out of our reach. And what a huge shame that is.
Tedesco’s favoured formation is a 3-4-1-2. The Italian likes to implement a possession based, high tempo playing style and he would undoubtedly take West Ham to another level.
DW recently explained how the Italian likes his team to operate:

Tedesco uses a back three/five in his build-up play with two pivot players staying narrow. The wing-backs provide width, the two strikers occupy their opponent’s last line of defense and the number 10 sits behind them. This structure organises Leipzig in a natural way as all five vertical lanes (wings, half spaces and centre lanes) on the pitch are occupied.
I genuinely don’t even think tactics like that are on Moyes’s radar.
It’s time to make a change at the London Stadium in my opinion, and Tedesco would have been the absolute dream appointment as far as I’m concerned.
Unfortunately for the Hammers though, he has just been named as the new Belgium manager. So it’s back to the drawing board…
