David Sullivan, please just appoint 37-year-old Italian and sack David Moyes now if you want to save West Ham’s season.

The Hammers are in all sorts of trouble at the moment and are currently sitting inside the relegation zone, having taken just 15 points from our opening 19 Premier League games.

David Moyes is under intense pressure, and recent reports have claimed that the West Ham board are considering the likes of Rafa Benitez and Nuno Espirito Santo as potential replacements for the Scot.

Moyes seems clueless as to how to get his team out of the mess that he has created. He has to go, there is no debate about that anymore.

The question is, who do West Ham bring in?

In my opinion, Domenico Tedesco should be the number one managerial target for West Ham, ahead of Moyes’s inevitable sacking.

The former RB Leipzig manager is currently out of work, after losing his job earlier this season.

Tedesco’s favoured formation is a 3-4-1-2.  The Italian likes to implement a possession based, high tempo playing style and he would undoubtedly take West Ham to another level.

DW recently explained how the Italian likes his team to operate:

Tedesco uses a back three/five in his build-up play with two pivot players staying narrow. The wing-backs provide width, the two strikers occupy their opponent’s last line of defense and the number 10 sits behind them. This structure organises Leipzig in a natural way as all five vertical lanes (wings, half spaces and centre lanes) on the pitch are occupied.

I genuinely don’t even think tactics like that are on Moyes’s radar.

It’s time to make a change at the London Stadium in my opinion, and Tedesco would be the absolute dream appointment as far as I’m concerned.

So, David Sullivan…please appoint the 37-year-old Italian and sack David Moyes immediately.
