West Ham United were quite simply awful against Olympiacos out in Athens in the Europa League tonight.
Olympiacos thoroughly deserved their 2-1 win over us, and West Ham manager David Moyes will be fuming with his second string after their performance left Europa League Group A in the balance.

Tonight was a great chance for us to stamp our authority down in Group A, but the Hammers stand-ins failed to turn up.

It really was a shambolic performance all round, but the truth of the matter is that we still have qualification to the last-16 in our own hands.
And that’s a sentiment that was echoed by Don Hutchison this evening…
Don Hutchison makes West Ham Europa League prediction after Olympiacos humbling
The former Hammer was on co-comms duty for the game at The Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium tonight.
He saw first-hand just how poor the Hammers were, but still made a really bold prediction after the game on his official Twitter account:
I agree with Don, I think we’ll qualify from the group. Whether we’re sitting at the summit come December is debatable though.
After the shambolic performance tonight, Moyes will now have to field his strongest XI in the next two games at the very least.
Weest Ham have to bounce back in our next Europa League outing against Olympiacos at the London Stadium in two week’s time. Nothing less than a win will do.
I expect Moyes to make at least seven or eight changes for the game. After seeing tonight’s showing, some of those players are clearly not fit to wear the shirt.
