The will he or won’t he David Moyes West Ham saga appears to be reaching a conclusion after a major family development.

With his future at West Ham in doubt beyond this summer I brought you word from the top on the David Moyes situation last weekend.

The key senior contact insider West Ham maintained a very clear stance on the manager’s situation.

And that is no decision will be announced until the end of the campaign.

There has been claim and counter claim over who could replace the manager at the London Stadium this summer.

Will he, won’t he Moyes saga at an end?

Especially after the Scot insisted it is he who is stalling on signing a new deal.

The manager’s new deal is ‘subject to terms’ as revealed on Hammers News.

And Moyes recently said he needs to make sure the deal is ‘right for his family’.

Well now Moyes’ West Ham future has been decided after a major family development claims a close confidant.

Scottish journalist Alan Nixon counts Moyes among his close contacts.

Family development decides Moyes’ West Ham future

And The Sun reporter has claimed on his Patreon that Moyes is set to sign a new Hammers deal.

That’s after being given the green light to appoint his son David to the scouting department.

“West Ham boss David Moyes has signed up a new scout – his son David Junior,” Nixon states.

“Moyes has recruited his lad who was working for top agency WMG and he is now going to games to size up targets

“The move is a further pointer that Moyes senior is planning to sign a new contract and stay on as Hammers manager.”

Attacking approach key to fan contentment

Jamie Carragher recently said he believes ‘the time has come’ for Moyes to leave West Ham when his contract expires this summer.

Some West Ham fans who want change will not be happy if Nixon’s claim is true.

But if Moyes can get the team playing more aggressive front-footed football – as they did in that first half vs Brentford – on a more consistent basis then supporters will be much happier.
