David Moyes absolutely must start Flynn Downes for the Manchester City vs West Ham clash tomorrow night.
West Ham travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City tomorrow, and Flynn Downes is more than deserving of a start in my opinion.

The Hammers face a hectic fixture schedule, with a Premier League clash against Manchester United following the Man City game and then a Europa Conference League semi-final tie with AZ Alkmaar to come next Thursday.

Moyes would be wise to mix things up with his starting XI at the Etihad tomorrow. Let’s face it, we probably have only a 2% chance of winning regardless of what team the Scot selects!
And Downes, 24, starting should be a no-brainer in my view…
Moyes must start Downes for Manchester City vs West Ham clash
The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Swansea City in the summer for around £14 million (Wales Online).
However, he hasn’t featured to regularly for West Ham this season, with just 1,241 minutes of action in total to his name, and only 487 of those minutes have come in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
Every time that Downes has put on the Hammers shirt this season, he has impressed.

The midfielder was superb for West Ham against Gent during his last start a couple of weeks ago.
The former Swansea man is a tenacious tackler, has energy and stamina in abundance and is a very good passer of the football.
The fact that Downes has barely played this season absolutely baffles me, especially when Tomas Soucek gets in the starting XI every single week without fail.
Tomorrow night is the ideal chance for Moyes to start the 24-year-old. The Scot needs to freshen up his starting lineup for the Manchester City vs West Ham clash and Downes is surely a shoo-in to start the match.
