David Moyes has been called to a crunch West Ham meeting as David Sullivan lays out his plans for the future.
Just last weekend the situation surrounding David Moyes at West Ham beyond this summer was as clear as mud.
Proof, if it were needed, came from the almost incessant claim and counter claim about the Scot and whether he would be staying at West Ham after the Europa Conference League final.
West Ham went on to make history by lifting their first major trophy in 43 years. And they qualified for the Europa League net season as a result.
Speaking since the final, Hammers majority owner David Sullivan made it clear Moyes will be West Ham manager next season – as long as he wants to be.

That has once again sparked rumours the manager could decide to walk away on a high.
Recent reports stated that West Ham’s owners have been so disappointed with the club’s transfers in recent windows they are hiring a top level director of football to oversee recruitment.
Then it was reported earlier this week that not only will Moyes be staying at West Ham, he will be having an even bigger say in transfers too.
Well now Moyes has been called to a crunch West Ham meeting as Sullivan lays out his plans for the future.
That’s according to Sky Sports.

“David Moyes will meet with West Ham chairman David Sullivan on Friday to discuss the way forward following the club’s victory in the Europa Conference League,” Sky Sports claim.
“Moyes delivered the club’s first trophy in 43 years with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in Prague on Wednesday and now discussions will focus on how the club builds on the success. Moyes has been linked with the vacant Celtic job.
“They will also discuss how to invest in the squad going forward with Declan Rice due to leave this summer.”
If as suggested those talks centre around how much – and in what way – money is spent this summer and perhaps most importantly, by whom, then they could very well be crunch talks indeed.
Because Moyes has very clear ideas about the environment and structure he wants to work in.
So unless he is on board with or driving the changes then it will be interesting to see what develops.
At this stage, though, following the Conference League win and comments from both Sullivan and Moyes – it would be a huge shock if the Scot does not remain at West Ham.
