Besiktas chairman Ahmet Nur Cebi has admitted that he wants to sign Arthur Masuaku permanently from West Ham.
Arthur Masuaku joined West Ham from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016 for around £6 million (Sky Sports).

However, the 29-year-old never established himself with the Hammers, and he left the London Stadium on loan in the summer of 2022.
The Turkish club’s chairman has already spoken out about his desire to make that deal happen…
Club chairman makes big admission about West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku
Besiktas chairman Ahmet Nur Cebi has insisted that he wants the 29-year-old left-back to join the club permanently when this season is finished.
He told TRT Haber:
“We want to continue with Masuaku, but everything doesn’t go as you planned.”
Getting rid of the 29-year-old on a permanent deal will be very good news indeed for the Hammers.
He never made any kind of positive impact in East London, and was regularly a weak-link for us when he played.
The left-back’s poor concentration levels and shocking positional awareness have cost the Hammers on numerous occasions over the years.
The sooner we get rid of him the better in my opinion. And it seems as though Arthur Masuaku could finally be on his way out of West Ham this summer.
He seems like a nice bloke but the harsh reality is that he just isn’t a very good footballer.
