Callum Wilson appeared to be frustrated with Nuno Espirito Santo after West Ham’s 3-0 victory over Leeds.
Nuno substituted Wilson for Pablo Felipe at half-time following a dismal 45 minutes at the London Stadium.
The English striker later scored an excellent goal in the 93rd minute, as the Hammers won 3-0 on the final day.
However, it was too little too late for West Ham to avoid relegation after Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Everton.
Wilson suggested after the game that Nuno should have put more faith in him throughout the season.

West Ham have been relegated despite the victory 😢
Callum Wilson hints at frustration with Nuno Espirito Santo
Wilson scored seven Premier League goals in just 12 starts this season — a rate of one goal every 117 minutes.
The 34-year-old’s goals included late winners against Tottenham in January and Everton in April.
Nuno clearly viewed Wilson as a difference-maker off the bench, but he probably deserved to start more games.
He certainly would have offered a greater goal threat than Pablo, who did not find the back of the net once in 14 appearances.
Speaking after the Leeds game, Wilson hinted that Nuno should have given him far more opportunities to help the team.
“I was aware [of the Spurs score] because I was on the bench, which has been the situation far too often,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’m disappointed [with the season]. I came here with the intention of playing, keeping fit and showing my qualities whenever I could. I feel like I did that.
Relegation confirmed – where do West Ham go from here?
“I feel that the squad here is very good, and it shouldn’t have been in the position it is. Ultimately, you feel as a professional and as a player that you could give more.
“Everyone has their opinions in football, and you just have to ride with it, as I have done. Today, it was nice to show what I could do on the final day of the season.”
Wilson refused to go into detail about the potential changes at the London Stadium ahead of the 2026/27 Championship season.
However, one can only assume that he would appreciate a different manager who would give him more playing time.
“Obviously, there’s probably going to be a lot of change over the summer. That’s all I’ll say,” he replied.
Wilson’s vast experience and goal-scoring ability could be crucial in the Championship, particularly if Taty Castellanos leaves.
