Blades captain Anel Ahmedhodzic has made a ludicrous conspiracy theory claim about the controversial West Ham incident.
West Ham will be left speechless by new comments from the captain of Sheffield United overnight.
The standard of Premier League officiating and the use of VAR in the so-called best league in the world took centre stage for all the wrong reasons again as West Ham drew 2-2 with the Blades at Bramall Lane.
Fans and pundits have been left utterly bemused by the award of a last gasp penalty to Sheffield United following a phantom foul on striker Ollie McBurnie which left Alphonse Areola with a blood nose and lip.

To make matters worse, West Ham were then denied a stonewall penalty on Jarrod Bowen from the resulting kick-off after he was wrestled to the ground by Anel Ahmedhodzic, denying him a clear chance at goal.
West Ham’s manager David Moyes, who usually refrains from publicly criticising referees, savaged the performance of the officials after the game.

Ahmedhodzic’s ludicrous conspiracy theory
In the post he essentially admitted he had wrestled Bowen to the ground and got away with it. He even added wrestling commentary for good measure.
But now Blades captain Ahmedhodzic has made a ludicrous conspiracy theory claim about the West Ham incident.
TNT Sports pundits Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole – like just about everyone else who has seen the incident – said they were baffled as to why West Ham were not awarded a penalty.
‘Footage edited to fit West Ham bias’
And now Ahmedhodzic has responded to TNT Sports’ post of the duo discussing the flashpoint by claiming the footage is ‘biased’ and has ‘obviously been edited’ to favour West Ham and make it look like a penalty.
“Clearly biased,” Ahmedhodzic said.
“You can see at the unedited footage where he pulls me down with him which makes me lose sight of the ball.
“Obviously it’s been edited to make it look like a pen to West Ham.”
You couldn’t make it up.
After the game he was mocking the officials after getting away with a wrestling move.
Now he’s saying the video has been edited.
Wonders never cease.
Of course we wouldn’t be discussing any of this had the referee or VAR simply done their jobs.
