Thomas Tuchel has been heavily linked with replacing David Moyes as the new West Ham United manager in recent weeks.

West Ham manager David Moyes is under intense pressure right now, hence the links with Thomas Tuchel, and the board were said to be really annoyed with his comments to the press following our 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend.

The Hammers have been an incredibly tough watch this season, even when we were winning and as a result, it has been claimed that there could be a chance that Tuchel, 50, could come in to the London Stadium to replace Moyes.

It was recently confirmed that the German will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, so he will undoubtedly be on the look-out for a new job over the course of the next few months.

However, is it realistic to think that West Ham could attract the former Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea manager?

Thomas Tuchel to replace David Moyes verdict given

The German taking over at the London Stadium is apparently ‘completely out of the question’.

BILD claim that Tuchel’s love for Chelsea means that he will not manage any other London club.

I would have loved the former Blues boss to take over from Moyes, but it seems like that clearly won’t be happeneing.

If we’re all honest with ourselves, it wasn’t really a realistic shout anyway was it! I believe that David Sullivan will be shopping in the ‘B’ category of managers – someone like Graham Potter, Will Still or Julen Lopetegui would be my guess.

I think that the main thing here is that Moyes is not the manager we need to take us on to the next level entirely.

Unfortunately for us though, Thomas Tuchel will not be replacing David Moyes at the London Stadium anytime soon.
