The availability of a boss Tim Steidten is said to be ‘confident’ of bringing to West Ham has moved a step closer.
Reports abound that David Moyes is fighting to save his job in West Ham’s next three games.
It was claimed last week that West Ham’s next four games would dictate Moyes’ future.
And the first of those ended in a 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest which could have been another drubbing.
The Hammers are winless in eight games so far in 2024.
Uncertainty over Moyes’ contract, which expires at the end of the season, has made West Ham easy pickings in the football media.
That has seen a host of managers being linked as potential replacements since.

Steidten ‘confident’ of bringing Tuchel to West Ham
One of the more ambitious – or outlandish depending on your view – names linked is Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel.
West Ham were actually linked with Tuchel the last time Moyes faced pressure over his job – in January last year.
Over the weekend two journalists claimed Tuchel is back on West Ham’s radar to replace Moyes – most likely in the summer.
Now the availability of the boss Tim Steidten is ‘confident’ of bringing to West Ham has moved a step closer.

Tuchel availability moves a step closer
Tuchel is under intense pressure to keep his job at Bayern. The German giants are second in Bundesliga – eight points adrift of Bayer Leverkusen – the former club of Hammers technical director Steidten.
They lost 3-0 to Steidten’s old side last weekend.
Then off the back of losing to Lazio in the Champions League in midweek, Tuchel saw his side lose 3-2 to midtable VfL Bochum yesterday.
The likes of The Sun now claim Tuchel is ‘on the brink’ – and he could be sacked if Bayern do not overturn their deficit in the second leg against Lazio.
At the weekend journalist Graeme Bailey revealed Steidten and Tuchel are friends who came close to working together at Chelsea before his dismissal.

Tuchel kept house in London
Bailey also stated West Ham’s recruitment chief is ‘confident’ his fellow German could be convinced to join the club.
“Steidten has remained close to Tuchel and believes that he could be persuaded to join West Ham – if the chance arose,” Bailey claims.
Well if West Ham do decide to part company with Moyes in the summer then Tuchel is looking almost certain to be available. Crucially – cynics might suggest – West Ham’s owners will not have to pay compensation either if Tuchel is axed.
And with his reputation as a manager capable of leading elite clubs tarnished somewhat in recent seasons, West Ham could get a Tuchel with a point to prove.
It is also worth noting the alleged Hammers target kept his house in London after his Chelsea sacking, as reported when he was linked with the West Ham last.
