Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has been speaking about West Ham ahead of Sunday’s Premier League showdown.
West Ham play host to Newcastle at the London Stadium this weekend, with both sides in very good form.

West Ham currently sit in seventh spot in the Premier League table, one place and one point ahead of the Magpies.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be delighted with the start that his side have made this season. And Howe will be proud of the way that his team have bounced back after a difficult start.
It should be a cracking game tomorrow and the Toon will not be relishing heading to the London Stadium to play us one little bit.
We’re a proper outfit now and Howe praised one Hammer in particular when speaking to the media…
Howe speaks to the press ahead of West Ham vs Newcastle clash
The Toon boss addressed reporters yesterday ahead of the Premier League game this weekend.
And Howe responded when asked about David Moyes’s West Ham side, as quoted by Newcastle’s official website:

“They’re an obvious threat from set-plays with James Ward-Prowse’s delivery and everything that he brings so that’s why, for us, it’s a case of refocussing and not being too distracted or affected anyway by the performance on Wednesday.”
Ward-Prowse has been sensational for us since moving to the London Stadium from Southampton for around £30 million in the summer.
The 28-year-old has two goals and six assists to his name already in just eight appearances for the Hammers.
The arrivals of Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez has made us a much stronger all-round team, after Declan Rice left to join Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Hopefully JWP causes Newcastle all sorts of problems with his set-pieces tomorrow and helps West Ham record what would be a hugely important three points.
