Lukasz Fabianski a hero for West Ham in Premier League win against Fulham
The 37-year-old was absolutely terrible against Newcastle in midweek and made a shocking error when he came charging out of his goal, only to miss-control the ball and gift Alexander Isak the chance to score.
The Pole was rightly criticised for that performance, but what better way to bounce back than with a superb performance away at Fulham?
The former Swansea City man was exceptional at Craven Cottage yesterday, but it was his save in the 83rd minute that might well end up being the action that keeps West Ham in the Premier League:
With Andreas Pereira bearing down on goal, Fabianski looked like he would be well beaten.
However, as the 27-year-old Fulham attacker tried to take the ball around him, the 37-year-old showed unbelievable agility and sprung to his right hand side to get an all important touch on the ball.
Danger was averted and West Ham picked up a vital three points in the race to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
That save from Fabianski will end up being the difference for the Hammers when we all look back at the end of the season in my opinion.
