En-Nesyri has actually been on West Ham’s radar since we sold Sebastien Haller in January 2021 (The Athletic). However, he has struggled for form over the past year or so.

That didn’t stop him destroying Manchester United last night though…

The 25-year-old bagged two goals for Sevilla during a 3-0 win over Man United at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

This two strikes helped the La Liga side reach the Europa League semi-finals.

He was a constant problem for the Manchester United defenders and proved what an absolute handful he can be.

En-Nesyri now has 16 goals for Sevilla this season (Transfermarkt), and is beginning to show the kind of form that made him such a highly-rated player two season ago.

With David Moyes thought to be on the hunt for a new striker this summer, it would be no surprise to see him go back in for the Morocco international.

He could be available for around £36 million this summer. That sound like a lot of money for someone who went off the boil for 12-18 months.

However, En-Nesyri undoubtedly has the quality needed to make a difference at the very highest level. And it will be interesting to see where the West Ham target is playing his football next season.
