Don Hutchison noticed a moment in the second-half during our Europa League win last night where Lucas Paqueta was furious with his West Ham teammate Michail Antonio.
West Ham beat Serbian side Backa Topola 3-1 in the Europa League Group A opener at the London Stadium last night.
The Hammers actually went behind on the night but an own goal and then strikes from Mohammed Kudus and Tomas Soucek secured the points for David Moyes‘ men.

The win was all that mattered in the end but things certainly didn’t go swimmingly last night.
There was one incident in particular where Lucas Paqueta absolutely lost his mind with Michail Antonio…
Don Hutchison notices one West Ham player go mad during Europa League win
The former Hammer was co-commentating on the game for TNT Sports last night.
And Hutchison noticed Paqueta’s reaction when the Brazilian teed up Antonio just 10 yards out from goal only for the Jamaica international to mis-control the ball (Thursday September 21st, 9:40pm):

“He’s furious with Michail Antonio there, Lucas Paqueta, because he put it on a plate for him but his first touch was woeful really. He’s not happy because that should have been 3-1.”
Paqueta was right to be mad with Antonio. The 33-year-old’s control really was so poor and at the time, the scoreline was only 2-1.
Antonio is an absolute handful for opposing defenders, we all know that. However, he is incredibly infuriating to watch sometimes, and he must try to improve on his first touch and finishing.
The 33-year-old obviously suits the way that Moyes likes his team to play but the Scot absolutely has to be looking to make an upgrade on the striker either in January or next summer.
His performance for West Ham in the Europa League when he came on as a substitute last night perfectly summed him up. He caused all sorts of problems and probably made us play better as a team in general.
However, he failed to do the easy thing right, and Paqueta let him know about it in no uncertain terms!
