“Daws [Craig Dawson] has upped his gears again. He’s gone again and he’s actually had a few dints on the nose in the last few weeks – a broken nose – and kept going. He’s played really, really well and he’s stepped up because you have to think we’ve got no Angelo [Ogbonna], we’ve got no Kurt [Zouma], no Cressy [Aaron Cresswell] tonight, and we’ve come here and got the result. When you look at it that way, you say: ‘Wow’.”

It’s now on to the Europa League semi-finals for West Ham where we will face Eintracht Frankfurt over two legs on April 28th and May 5th.

Dawson will undoubtedly have a huge role to play for the Hammers between now and the end of the season.

He really has proven to be an unbelievable signing for the club.

Craig Dawson proved just how good he is with his performance for West Ham against Lyon. And he has now firmly silenced his doubters.

Good on you Craig!
