‘Stunning’ 20-year-old Pierre Ekwah scores first senior goal for West Ham United during our 4-2 win over Cambridge United last night.
The Hammers actually went behind against the League One side during last night’s friendly, but our class shone through in the end.
David Moyes would have been delighted with the fact that his players got some much-needed minutes back into their legs.

Another big boost for Moyes would have been the performance of Pierre Ekwah after he came on as a second-half substitute.

West Ham youngster Ekwah shines during 4-2 win over Cambridge
The 20-year-old joined the Hammers from Chelsea in the summer of 2021.
The young Frenchman is still yet to play for the West Ham senior team in a competitive game, but he has always looked really good during the friendlies that he has played.
It may well now be time for him to take the step up to the next level.
Described as a’stunning’ young player by Football.London, Ekwah really does seem to have everything needed to go on and enjoy a successful career with West Ham.

Ekwah looks like a real player, and he will surely have a role to play for West Ham at senior level very soon indeed.
The ex-Chelsea man possesses exceptional technique, is really energetic and has a wonderful array of passing in his arsenal.
West Ham beat Cambridge 4-2 last night and it was a good run-out for the boys. The performance was far from convincing but there were plenty of positives, including the performance of the 20-year-old French midfielder.
And Ekwah’s cameo appearance would have undoubtedly caught the eye of the West Ham fans and more importantly, David Moyes.
