Jarrod Bowen looked fit as a fiddle and as sharp as a razor for West Ham United against Cambridge United tonight.
The 25-year-old made a really poor start to the 2022/23 campaign, and seemed to be well off the pace.
Bowen has bagged only five goals in 21 games for the Hammers so far this season, with just two of them coming in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
The former Hull City man missed out on Gareth Southgate’s England squad as a result of his poor form.

I suggested last month that Bowen use the World Cup break to regain his fitness and hunger.
And it seems as though that’s exactly what he has done…
Jarrod Bowen looked superb for West Ham vs Cambridge
David Moyes brought the 25-year-old to the London Stadium for around £18 million in January 2020 (The Daily Mail).
He has proven to be an excellent addition for the club overall. However, he looked like a completely different player during the first three months of this season.
Bowen was well off the pace and quite simply didn’t look fit.

The 25-year-old looked like his old self again for West Ham vs Cambridge tonight though.
Sure, it was only League One opposition, but you can only beat who’s in front of you can’t you!
Bowen scored West Ham’s equaliser after 30 minutes of the game.
He was a constant menace and never gave the Cambridge defenders one moments rest.
His performance tonight was so much more like it.
The Hammers winger was brought off at half-time by Moyes, obviously to make sure that he didn’t pick up a needless injury.
Jarrod Bowen showed what he’s capable of during the West Ham vs Cambridge clash. Let’s hope that there’s plenty more to come from the 25-year-old between now and the end of the season.
