Jarrod Bowen raved about two West Ham United players in particular after our 2-1 win over Luton Town last night.

West Ham earned a really hard-fought three points against Luton in the Premier League at Kenilworth Road last night.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been delighted with the performance of his players, especially Bowen who was the target of disgusting chants from the Luton fans.

The 26-year-old answered in the best possible way with a goal, and he caused the Hatters problems all night.

He wasn’t the only one who rolled his sleeves up and put in a real shift though. Bowen picked out two of his teammates who really impressed him…

The Hammers star spoke to reporters after the match and discussed the vital 2-1 victory.

And Bowen offered glowing praise for centre-back duo Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd, as quoted via WHUFC.com:

“Credit to everyone, especially the two centre-halves for the way they defended the box and headed everything clear. Especially those two, I thought they did really well.”

Zouma in particular was absolutely brilliant last night.

However, I will say that whilst Aguerd was very good at times, he also looked quite shaky on occasion as well.

The Moroccan’s positional play is a real concern at times, and he has to improve upon that if he is to succeed in the Premier League.

On the whole though, it was a very good performance all around from West Ham, and Jarrod Bowen was clearly delighted that we got the three points.
