David Moyes looks set to make one West Ham change for Spurs after a Said Benrahma call but may be forced into a second.

West Ham take on bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening desperate for points in the battle to survive.

Tottenham have been inconsistent this season highlighted by the fact they beat Man City before getting a 4-1 hiding at Leicester last weekend.

Spurs followed that up with a 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday night.

West Ham go into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Chelsea which looked good on paper but was actually a missed opportunity against an out of sorts team.

The Hammers have also been boosted by the news that five key men are missing for Spurs while Hammers bogeyman Son Heung-min could be rested.

Moyes has several injury absentees himself but may be able to call on star defender Nayef Aguerd if he passes a late fitness test.

Given his massive importance to the team it will be a tough call for Moyes. And one would assume no risks will be taken with his long-term fitness.

Assuming Aguerd comes through that test Moyes will still be without Lucas Paqueta, Maxwel Cornet, Kurt Zouma and possibly also Aaron Creswell.

Said Benrahma’s starting spot has been called into question of late too with the playmaker struggling to make any impact in terms of goals or assists.

We predict Moyes makes one West Ham change for Spurs after a Benrahma call but may be forced into a second.

Assuming Aguerd is fit to play, Moyes will replace Paqueta with Tomas Soucek in his only change from the team which started against Chelsea.

There are a number of variables, though.

It is believed the Scot has been toying with the idea of dropping Benrahma and moving Michail Antonio into that wide left attacking role so that he can give Danny Ings his first start up front.

Moyes claims Ings is not quite ready for to start after a knee injury on his debut.

But Benrahma will get another chance to keep his starting spot against Spurs it seems.

West Ham may be forced into a second change to the starting XI for the Spurs clash, though.

That’s after doubts emerged over number one goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski on the eve of the match.

So it remains to be seen how that situation transpires ahead of kick-off.

Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Emerson, Rice, Soucek, Benrahma, Bowen, Antonio.
