Hammers boss David Moyes will make nine West Ham changes for Liverpool as a key duo return to the starting XI.

That’s what we predict going into the game between Liverpool and West Ham at Anfield.

David Moyes and Jurgen Klopp each had a major doubt over a key player for the Liverpool v West Ham clash.

For West Ham, as reported on Hammers News earlier this week, on fire Jarrod Bowen has been a doubt having been laid low by a virus all week.

Meanwhile there has been confusion over the availability of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Predicted: David Moyes makes nine West Ham changes for Liverpool as key duo return to the starting XI

The Hammers and the Reds go head-to-head in game week six of the Premier League after getting their Europa League campaigns off to winning starts with respective 3-1 comeback victories in midweek.

Moyes and Klopp made wholesale changes for those matches.

And they look set to do so again for what should be a tight and exciting match between two in-forms sides.

We predict Moyes makes nine West Ham changes for Liverpool as key duo return to the starting XI.

Bowen and El Machin to return as two of nine changes for Liverpool?

As we reported earlier, a Liverpool site predicted overnight that Bowen – who has been laid low by a virus all week – would be available for West Ham after a fitness test.

And we know that instant hero Edson Alvarez is back having been suspended for the Europa League opener on Thursday night.

Working on that basis we believe Bowen and Alvarez come back into the side as two of nine West Ham changes for Liverpool.

Kudus waiting in the wings after brace on first start?

That means exciting £38m signing Mohammed Kudus – who would have deputised for Bowen – will be on the bench after scoring twice on his first start in midweek.

Said Benrahma also drops back to the bench.

There had been claims that Moyes could drop Nayef Aguerd as a result of his erratic form.

But while new man Konstantinos Mavropanos was excellent on debut against TSC Backa Topola, throwing him in for his first Premier League game at Anfield just isn’t the Moyes way.

Predicted West Ham starting XI to face Liverpool at Anfield:

Areola, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson, Soucek, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Bowen, Antonio.
