After getting their Europa League campaigns off to winning starts with respective 3-1 comeback victories, West Ham and Liverpool go head-to-head on Sunday.

Liverpool are in something of a transitional phase right now. And West Ham will be hopeful of coming away from Merseyside with a positive result following a fine start to the Premier League season.

Both David Moyes and Klopp rang the changes for their European games against Serbian league leaders TSC Backa Topola and LASK respectively.

So the line-ups will be very different the the two clubs face off in just over 48 hours.

For Moyes, though, he may be forced to make do without two West Ham players against the Reds.

Because Jarrod Bowen and another key West Ham star are doubts for Liverpool as Moyes confirms an injury to Aaron Cresswell.

According to Sky Sports News, Bowen has not trained for several days after coming down with an illness.

It is stated he is being kept away from the squad to protect other players from infection.

And as a result he is considered a doubt for the trip to Liverpool.

Another major doubt is Liverpudlian Cresswell. The left-back made his first start of the season for the Hammers on Thursday night but was withdrawn at half-time.

Now Moyes has confirmed he has picked up a hamstring injury.

“He felt his hamstring, he’d felt it a little bit in training but we didn’t think it was enough to warrant sort of doing anything about it,” Moyes told TNT Sports.

“But obviously it’s come on during the game and we’ll let the medical team have a look at it and find out exactly how bad it is.”

Bowen faces the prospect of missing only his third game in the last 131 Premier League matches if he does not recover in time for Liverpool.
