And the Hammers followed it up with a 1-0 win at Anderlecht to maintain a perfect start to this season’s European adventure.
Meanwhile Fulham, who have made an excellent start to life back in the top flight, were beaten 4-1 by Newcastle last time out.
As reported by Hammers News at the start of the week, Fulham have several doubts for the clash including star man Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The in-form Serbian lasted just 34 minutes of the defeat to Newcastle and had to be withdrawn through injury. Cottagers boss Marco Silva has admitted he is a major doubt for the trip to West Ham.

“The result of this game will depend on Aleksandar Mitrovic’s fitness,” Merson told SportsKeeda.
“I saw him earlier this week and he said he hopes to be fit, but we’ll have to wait and see. West Ham are such a threat when it comes to set-pieces, so Mitrovic could play a huge role for Fulham at both ends of the pitch.
“Fulham have had a bit of a wake-up call in recent weeks, they went down to ten men against Newcastle and got absolutely blown away last weekend.
“I fancy West Ham to win this one as they look to climb the Premier League table after an underwhelming start to the season.”
Merson predicts West Ham will win the match comfortably 2-0.
