Paul Merson has made his prediction for the West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur Premier League clash tomorrow night.
The Hammers play host to Tottenham at the London Stadium tomorrow night in what will be a hugely important game for both sides.

West Ham earned our first points of the season on Sunday with a massive win away at Aston Villa, and another three points against Tottenham could lift us up into the top eight.
Spurs, meanwhile, will be looking to keep up the pressure on Manchester City and Arsenal ahead of them in the table with a victory in East London.
It will be a tough game for both teams, with the atmosphere at the London Stadium expected to be bouncing. And Paul Merson has highlighted how it could be a very tight encounter…
Paul Merson makes West Ham vs Tottenham prediction
The ex-Arsenal man wrote his regular column for Sportskeeda and shared why he believes it will be a tight game at the London Stadium:
“West Ham got a big result against Aston Villa as they finally got their first point of the season. Tottenham, on the other hand, have got good results, but a deeper dive into their performances will tell you that they haven’t played particularly well.”
Merson went on to say…
“This is a London derby and the fans will be right up for this one, so I expect this to be a cracker of a contest. Tottenham striker Richarlison was on the news recently for being taken out by Brennan Johnson after a bit of showboating in the dying embers of the game against Forest. I don’t see the need for players to showboat to be honest – they all try to be Neymar or something and attempt to take the mickey out of opposition players. Fair player to Johnson for taking him out, that’s my opinion of the situation. If Richarlison was playing against the likes of Tony Adams and Martin Keown, I think he’d have suffered a similar fate.”
Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Tottenham
A point wouldn’t be the worst result in the world for us.
Not losing and maintaining the feel-good factor heading into the Chelsea clash this weekend will be key.
West Ham completed a deal to sign Lucas Paqueta yesterday, and everyone involved with the club are buzzing at the moment.
Let’s hope that we don’t come crashing back down to earth with a bang against Spurs.
