Major West Ham boost ahead of Arsenal clash as injury doubt is pictured with Declan Rice at Christmas Day training.
The Hammers head to the Emirates to take on Arsenal tonight in what is a massive game for both sides, but for very different reasons!
West Ham are in real trouble and we are currently sitting in 16th spot in the Premier League table, just one point clear of the drop zone.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are flying high. Mikel Arteta’s men are currently sitting five points clear of second placed Manchester City at the top of the tree.

The Gunners will be without Gabriel Jesus whilst the Hammers are sweating on the fitness of Gianluca Scamacca, Michail Antonio and Nayef Aguerd.
On Friday, David Moyes did hint that Aguerd has a chance of playing against Arsenal.
And it seems as though there is every chance that the Moroccan could feature tonight at the Emirates…
West Ham boost pre Arsenal as injury doubt pictured at training
Nayef Aguerd is clearly a huge talent.
Unfortunately for him, Moyes and the Hammers fans, his West Ham career is still yet to get off the ground because of injury.
He missed the first few moths of the 2022/23 season after suffering a serious ankle injury against Rangers in pre-season.
The Moroccan returned to action for the Hammers just before the World Cup, but then suffered a further setback out in Qatar at the World Cup after succumbing to a thigh problem during his country’s clash with Spain.
It seems as though the 26-year-old centre-back could be ready to return to action tonight in north London though.
Declan Rice posted the below picture to his official Instagram account on Christmas Day:
Having injury doubt Aguerd available for the clash with Arsenal would be a truly massive boost for West Ham.
We desperately need to pick up a result tonight, but we all know that will be easier said than done against the league leaders.
One thing’s for sure though, having Nayef Aguerd available for selection will improve our chances of leaving north London in good spirits tonight.
