There’s a £190m headache as Erik ten Hag hints at surprise starters for Man United against West Ham United.
West Ham welcome Manchester United to the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime with both having been somewhat shown up by Liverpool in their last game.
The Hammers were thrashed 5-1 by Jurgen Klopp’s side who actually had more shots when they dominated Man United but were somehow held to a 0-0 draw last weekend.
West Ham vs Manchester United is a battle for sixth place in the Premier League table – for a few hours at least.
Much of the focus ahead of the game will be on team selection and availability.

£190m headache as Erik ten Hag hints at surprise starters
Both West Ham and Man United have problems with illness sweeping through their camps as confirmed by David Moyes and Erik ten Hag pre-match.
And given recent criticism of their team selections when it comes to certain players all eyes are on who will line up for West Ham and the Red Devils in east London.
There’s a £190m headache as Ten Hag drops a hint over surprise starters up front for Man United against West Ham.
Rasmus Hojlund has faced big question marks over his place in the team following his £72m summer move from Atalanta. Particularly ahead of the West Ham clash amid his and Man United’s recent troubles.
Meanwhile Marcus Rashford – rated at £120m by Man United according to The Mirror – has found himself out of the Man United side having fallen out of favour with Ten Hag.
But Moyes faces the headache of both playing in the Man United forward line against the Hammers.

Rashford and Hojlund to start vs Hammers?
That’s if a hint from Ten Hag is anything to go by.
In quotes highlighted by Fabrizio Romano ahead of the clash in east London, Ten Hag said: “I have a strong belief in Hojlund and in Rashford that they are capable of scoring a lot of goals.
“Rashford, last year under me, proved he can score many goals when he’s at his best. He will score many goals, I’m sure.
“He’s training well. It can always be better, but I think he’s such an experienced player. He knows how top football works.
“He knows he has to take the responsibility and I’m sure he will do that and he will line up himself.”
