West Ham insider confirms Kurt Zouma suspicions with epic update ahead of Europa League semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Yesterday we ran an opinion piece suggesting Hammers boss David Moyes had dropped a big hint that Zouma – who has been out injured since West Ham’s defeat at Brentford on April 10th – might be available for the semi-final.

West Ham, under the direction of Moyes, have given very little detail on the injury to Zouma or indeed Issa Diop in his absence.

Moyes did however admit Zouma has been responding well to treatment when pressed on the matter before the Chelsea game.

When asked ‘might you have one or two more defenders available for Thursday than you did today’ an awkward Moyes responded: “I wouldn’t expect so, no.”

Moyes understandably wore a pained expression after the late Chelsea defeat.

But a wry smile broke out across the Scot’s face when the reporter finished with the comment ‘So you’ll go with what you’ve got’ in a BBC interview that appeared to drop a big Zouma hint ahead of the West Ham clash with Frankfurt.

Now a West Ham insider has confirmed those Zouma suspicions with an epic update ahead of the semi-final.

In an exclusive from Claret and Hugh titled ‘Zouma… it’s top news’, a West Ham insider has revealed that the £29m defender’s rapid recovery has given him a chance of playing in the first leg at the London Stadium on Thursday night.

The report states there is a bigger likelihood he will be ready for the away leg next week.

But he is also a possibility for West Ham’s home leg.

“We were informed this evening by a key Hammers source that the player has a small chance of making the squad for the game against Eintracht Frankfurt but that there’s a very real possibility he could be involved in the second leg,” Claret and Hugh report.

With Diop out and Angelo Ogbonna not expected to feature until next season, having Zouma back would be monumental.

This is one of the biggest games in West Ham’s modern history.

And we need as many of our top players out there to make sure our dreams don’t fade and die.
