Maxwel Cornet could make surprise early return for West Ham against Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
Cornet has missed our last two games against Anderlecht and Fulham respectively after going off injured against Wolves 11 days ago.

Cornet moved to the London Stadium from Burnley in the summer transfer window for around £17.5 million (Sky Sports).
The Ivory Coast international has struggled to make much of an impact so far, but he has shown us glimpses of what he’s capable of.
And in fairness to him, he has bagged five assists in nine games for West Ham so far (Transfermarkt).
David Moyes will be desperate to get Cornet back and available for selection as soon as possible, to provide more strength in depth on the left hand flank. And it seems as though he may well be back sooner than first thought…

According to high-level insiders Claret and Hugh, Cornet has a 50/50 chance of returning to action for West Ham against Anderlecht in the Europa Conference League tomorrow night.

It would be great to have the Ivory Coast international back in the squad, but if he is indeed touch and go, I would suggest that it would be better to save him for the Premier League game away at Southampton on Sunday.
Cornet will be a very important player for the Hammers in all competitions between now and the end of the season.
We just need to be grateful that his calf injury wasn’t as serious as it could have been.
It’s good news that Maxwel Cornet could make an early return for West Ham tomorrow night.
As mentioned earlier though, the prudent play will be to give him a bit more time to completely recover.
