The Hammers beat Wolves 2-0 at the London Stadium and earned what was a valuable three points.

How we needed it. West Ham now sit in 15th spot in the Premier League table with a Europa Conference League game against Anderlecht and league clash with Fulham to look forward to next week.

The Hammers boss was speaking to reporters after the game tonight.

Obviously how much action Cornet will miss depends on the severity of the calf problem.

October will be a vitally important month for West Ham. And Moyes will need all of his players fully fit and firing if we are to climb up the Premier League table.

The Maxwel Cornet injury was far from ideal tonight. It marred what was otherwise a very pleasing result.

Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad, and he manages to return to action as soon as possible.

Cornet will be truly gutted, having been given the chance to shine from he start tonight. Hopefully the pacy winger comes back stronger though.
