West Ham United manager David Moyes has shared a double injury blow ahead of our Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal tomorrow night.

David Moyes is under real pressure right now, and the last thing the West Ham boss needs is a Carabao Cup tie against an in-form Arsenal side.

The Hammers have lost three straight games in all competitions, and if that poor form continues, Moyes allegedly could lose his job.

West Ham have been playing some really poor stuff over the past month or so, and Moyes will be desperate for his team to arrest that slide.

However, the Scot shared some really worrying news during his pre-match press conference today…

David Moyes shares worrying double injury blow for West Ham ahead of Arsenal Carabao Cup clash

The Hammers boss addressed the media today, ahead of our cup clash with the Gunners tomorrow night.

And Moyes responded when asked whether he has any injury concerns to deal with, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Behind the scenes, we’ve got a couple of injuries which we are having to deal with at the moment. They’re from the game at the weekend. I wouldn’t say too much at the moment. We’ve just got a couple of knocks and there’s one or two who could maybe be missing [against Arsenal] due to injury.”

Now, Ben Johnson and Aaron Cresswell have been the only injury doubts over the past month or so, but both have returned to training recently, and the latter started against Everton at the London Stadium on Sunday.

All we can hope is that none of our key players are injured, especially with Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez set to miss our Premier League clash with Brentford on Saturday through suspension.

West Ham United’s Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal tomorrow night is vitally important for us as a club, and Moyes of course.

However, it seems like we may have to field an under-strength team, unless the couple of injured players are fully fit in time for the kick-off tomorrow night. This really isn’t a game that we can field a mix of starters and back-ups and expect a good result.

Arsenal will be top-drawer, whichever 11 players Mikel Arteta selects.

When it rains it pours eh!
