The West Ham United vs Arsenal clash in the Premier League this afternoon is an eagerly anticipated one on both sides.
David Moyes and Mikel Arteta are both in desperate need of all three points, so the West Ham vs Arsenal Premier League clash is one of the most important games of the season so far for the East and North London clubs.
The Hammers haven’t won a game since we last played the Gunners at the end of December – a 2-0 victory at The Emirates.
Arsenal are a fine team when in full flow – one of the very best in the Premier League in fact. However, we have the players to hurt them.
And it seems like Arteta could be without an awful lot of key players for today’s game at The London Stadium…

According to Premier Injuries, Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira and Thomas Partey are all definitely out of today’s game.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus all face late fitness tests, and are rated at 25%, 50% and 75% respectively to make today’s game.
So should all six of those players miss today’s game, or even four or five of them, the Hammers will have a big chance of turning the Gunners over in my opinion.
Mikel Arteta’s side are very, very good but they are far from infallible – we’ve proven that by beating them twice already this season!
Let’s hope that the West Ham players really turn up for the Arsenal clash this afternoon, and put in a top-class performance.
Because that’s what we will need to win the game, in spite of the Gunners’ numerous injury concerns ahead of kick-off.
