Angelo Ogbonna speaks out after devastating injury blow rocks West Ham United following the euphoric win over Liverpool.
West Ham have lost one of their big leaders after worrying rumours surrounding a serious knee injury to Ogbonna proved true today.
Ogbonna will be out injured long-term – and possibly the season – after damaging his ACL in what is a crushing blow for West Ham and David Moyes.

It comes as West Ham find themselves fighting on all fronts. The Hammers go into the international break deservedly in third place in the Premier League after the 3-2 win over Liverpool.
Moyes’s side are one game away from the Carabao Cup semi-finals and on the brink of qualifying for the Europa League last 16 too.
A huge part of West Ham’s success is the brilliant partnership between Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma.

The 33-year-old injured his knee when chasing Mohamed Salah in the first half against Liverpool.
After some treatment on the side of the pitch Ogbonna played on. But he then suffered a blow to his eye after a sly elbow from Reds forward Diogo Jota which left him dripping with blood and was substituted with a scan yesterday revealing the horrible news.

And now Ogbonna himself has spoken for the first time since picking up the serious injury.
“Unfortunately my knee forces me to take a break and return asap to fight with you,” Ogbonna said on Twitter.
“Of course I am devastated I can’t continue our battle from the field, but, as a fighter, I’ll be back and till my return I’ll be supporting the team in this truly special year.
“See you soon guys.”
