UEFA have labelled West Ham United’s £51m star Lucas Paqueta ‘ridiculous’ after what he did in European clash.
West Ham tightened their grip on Europa Conference League Group B after making it a perfect three wins from three with a 1-0 victory over Anderlecht last Thursday night.
And the Hammers will effectively seal the group win and a place in the last 16 if they can beat the Belgians again this Thursday evening at the London Stadium.

The result came courtesy of a lovely goal from substitute Gianluca Scamacca – beautifully setup by fellow sub Paqueta.
And a remarkably similar link-up also created a match-defining goal in the win over Fulham at the weekend.
But it was one particular moment of Brazil-liance from the West Ham star in Europe which has gone viral since.
A long cross-field pass was pinged out to West Ham’s Brazil star on the right touchline. And Paqueta sprang in the air before crossing his legs and controlling the pass dead with his heel on the opposite side.

UEFA label West Ham star Lucas Paqueta ‘ridiculous’ after what he did in European clash
Now UEFA have labelled West Ham star Paqueta ‘ridiculous’ after what he did in the European clash.
“Lucas Paqueta, that is ridiculous,” UEFA posted on its official Europa Conference League account yesterday alongside the video.
West Ham have a serious player on their hands here.
And he’s no show pony, far from it.
His insane touch map from the win over Fulham has to be seen to be believed.
Attention now turns to winning the group which will effectively give West Ham’s key stars a five-month break from European competition as the last 16 matches take place over two legs in March.
