David Moyes has a real dilemma on his hands for next weekend’s West Ham United vs Everton clash.

West Ham play host to Everton at the London Stadium next Sunday, and David Moyes will be forced into making one change.

The Hammers lost 4-1 to Aston Villa yesterday, and it was a bad day all-round for Moyes and his players.

However, to add insult to injury, the yellow card received by Emerson Palmieri means that he will miss our next game through suspension.

And now Moyes has a huge selection dilemma on his hands…

Emerson, 29, has been one of our best players this season, alongside the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta.

So not being able to select him on Sunday will be a big blow for Moyes, obviously. However, who does the Scot bring into the side this weekend?

Aaron Cresswell and Ben Johnson are both working their way back from injuries, but even if they are fit and available next weekend, I don’t really want either of them in the starting lineup.

The 33-year-old left-back and the versatile 23-year-old full-back are both nowhere near good enough for Premier League football in my opinion.

And because of that, I believe Moyes should move Nayef Aguerd out to the left-back role, with Konstantinos Mavropanos coming into the side.

The 27-year-old has been incredibly shaky in central defence, but he does possess the attributes needed to succeed at left-back. He has blistering pace, is a decent tackler and I feel like he would be less exposed out by the touchline.

Listen, he’d certainly be a better option there than Cresswell or Johnson, that’s for sure. And in my opinion, Moyes needs to start the Moroccan in Emerson’s position for the West Ham vs Everton clash on Sunday.
