West Ham United Manager David Moyes faces a big transfer rebuild at the London Stadium in the summer.

David Moyes has a lot of work to do at West Ham, and the summer transfer window will be an extremely busy one.

Even if no players from the current squad are moved on, the Hammers boss will need to sign a bare minimum of three or four players if we are to compete on all fronts over the next few years.

However, there will definitely be a mass exodus next summer, with a wealth of experience set to depart from the London Stadium.

Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, Angelo Ogbonna and Michail Antonio face extremely uncertain futures at West Ham.

Cresswell, Fabianski and Ogbonna will all be out of contract in the summer of 2024, whilst Antonio has been heavily linked with an exit from the London Stadium.

And if all four of these players do leave in seven month’s time, Moyes will have to bring in some experience to help us cope with what we’ll be losing…

Cresswell, Fabianski, Ogbonna and Antonio may well all be on the downturn of their careers, but they are still big characters in the dressing room.

The 33-year-old left-back has been at the club since 2014, whilst the Italy and Jamaica internationals joined a year later. Meanwhile, Fab moved to the London Stadium in 2018.

So by the time the summer of 2024 rolls around, those four players would have given West Ham a combined 34 years of service.

And average of 8.5 years service between four players is quite something in the modern game. Players remaining with the same club for more than five years is becoming increasingly more rare with every season that passes.

The four players mentioned above have been brilliant for the Hammers over the past decade, but all good things come to an end.

And West Ham boss David Moyes faces a big transfer rebuild next summer, when numerous new additions will be required.
