'Sensational' £15m Liverpool ace joining West Ham in January now ideal outcome for everyone

Liverpool ace Nat Phillips joining West Ham in the January transfer window would be the ideal outcome for everyone involved.

Hammers boss David Moyes allegedly wants to bring the 25-year-old Liverpool centre-back to the London Stadium this winter.

And now the urgency of signing a new central defender has just increased ten-fold.

Kurt Zouma has just undergone knee surgery and could be out for up to six months!

That’s shocking news for West Ham – the Frenchman has been really good this season.

And as a result, Moyes must go January shopping at Liverpool…

It seems as though everything is now set up perfectly for Nat Phillips to join the Hammers in January.

He won’t be playing regularly for Liverpool and West Ham are in desperate need of another centre-back. No-brainer right?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is allegedly keen to move the 25-year-old from Anfield for around £15 million in the January transfer window (The Daily Mail).

So what on earth are West Ham waiting for? Moyes needs to make this happen as a matter of urgency after the concerning news regarding Kurt Zouma…

I would love to see Moyes bring the Liverpool defender to the London Stadium from Anfield.

£15 million seems like outstanding value to us for someone with Phillips’ quality. He has absolutely everything that West Ham are looking for.

The 25-year-old is incredibly strong in the air – he proved that last season during both games against us. He’s tenacious in the tackle, a great reader of the game and plays with commitment, passion and desire.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently described Phillips as ‘unbelievable’ (Liverpool Echo). Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand raved about his display for the Reds at the San Siro last season, labelling Phillips as ‘beautiful’ and ‘Baresi like’ (Daily Mail).

The fact that Phillips has received that kind of praise proves just how much talent he has and how highly regarded he is in the game.

Jurgen Klopp once described the centre-back as ‘sensational’, when speaking to Sky Sports.

The Liverpool ace joining West Ham in the January transfer window makes perfect sense for everyone concerned in my opinion.
