West Ham United manager David Moyes watched on as his team threw away a 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 to Brentford yesterday.
David Moyes was visibly fuming from the touchline and when speaking to reporters after West Ham United’s defeat to Brentford.

The Hammers began the 2023/24 Premier League campaign in fine fashion, with three wins and a draw from our opening four games, but we’ve taken just four points from our last seven games, and Moyes is on very thin ice in his role as manager.
Aside from the Carabao Cup win over Arsenal on Wednesday night, West Ham have been really poor since Premier League action resumed after the last international break.
And one thing in particular about the Hammers’ performances has been really worrying…

David Moyes myth finally busted after West Ham United’s Brentford horror show
Pundits, ex-players, current players and fans don’t stop telling us that the Scot is one of the best around when it comes to organising his team defensively.
‘Moyes teams are very hard to beat’ – it’s something we have heard consistently over the past two decades.
There might have been times in the past when that statement was true, certainly when he was at Everton and the first two years of his second spell at the London Stadium.
However, that quite simply isn’t the case now. I reckon that aside from Luton, we are probably one of the easiest teams to play against in there top flight.
We’ve shipped 20 goals in 11 Premier League games so far this season – level with Luton and only better than three teams – Bournemouth, Burnley and Sheffield United.
Opposition sides seem to be cutting through our team as a whole like a hot knife through butter. And that’s the issue, it’s not just the goalkeeper and back four who are to blame. The midfield are getting played through far too easily as well.
When Michail Antonio plays, we just don’t press from the front as a team and the defenders suffer as a result.
West Ham are easy to play against now, that’s pretty obvious to see, and the David Moyes myth has been well and truly busted.
