David Moyes bringing ‘unbelievable’ rogue Marko Arnautovic back to West Ham should be an absolute no-brainer in my opinion.
Arnie, 33, left the Hammers nearly four years ago now, to join the Chinese Super League. He has since returned to Europe though, and is now plying his trade with Bologna.

Given the current situation at the London Stadium though, Moyes shouldn’t think twice about bringing the Austrian back to the club, at least on a short-term deal.
Danny Ings was signed last week, but the 30-year-old is already out injured. Meanwhile, Gianluca Scamacca is on the sidelines with an injury as well and Michail Antonio is a shadow of the player he once was.
Arnautovic could make a huge impact for the Hammers between now and the end of the season, and I really feel like the majority of fans would accept him back in spite of his acrimonious exit from the club in 2019…
Marko Arnautovic should come back to West Ham
If the 33-year-old is in fact available, Moyes must not hesitate to bing him back to the London Stadium.
Firstly, the Austria international is an elite player. His former teammate at West Ham Cheikhou Kouyate once described him as an ‘unbelievable’ player.
He is still producing the goods on a consistent basis as well, with eight goals in 14 Serie A games to his name so far this season (Transfermarkt).
And secondly, his attitude and winning mentality is exactly what we need at West Ham at the moment. We are in real trouble, and sometimes it’s nice to have a so-called ‘nasty’ character in the dressing room.

There will of course be some West Ham fans who absolutely hate the idea of Arnie returning to the club.
The 33-year-old left the London Stadium to join to join Shanghai SIPG, now known as Shanghai Port, in July 2019 for around £22 million. The striker earned an incredible £200k-a-week in China (Daily Mirror).
Arnie forced his way out of West Ham after handing in two transfer requests, once his agent (brother) made it clear to him he was in line for a massive contract out in China. Much water has passed under the bridge now though and in my opinion, it’s time to let bygones be bygones.
Marko Arnautovic would make a huge difference for West Ham between now and the end of the season in my opinion. However, whether David Moyes agrees with that notion is another matter entirely.
