Danny Ings has endured an absolute nightmare 10 month spell with West Ham United, after moving to the club in January.
West Ham signed Danny Ings from Aston Villa for £12 million (Evening Standard) in the January transfer window this year.

Hammers boss David Moyes signed the 31-year-old in the hope that he would fire us to safety, but it was nothing more than a real panic buy, and he candidly admitted back in May that he hadn’t quite settled into life at the London Stadium how he would have liked to.
The former Burnley, Liverpool, Southampton and Aston Villa man was destined to fail at the London Stadium from the start.
He has only ever really worked when playing as part of a two up front – something that Moyes has hardly ever done throughout his managerial career – so the question has to be asked – why did the Scot even sign him in the first place?
It was a panic buy, nothing more, nothing less. And now West Ham are paying the price for what was a really costly mistake…

Danny Ings – The worst £12 million spent in West Ham United’s history
There have been plenty of poor signings throughout the years at West Ham – the likes of Savio Nsereko, Simone Zaza and the infamous Marco Boogers spring to mind!
However, I think Ings tops the lot, and the sooner we sell him the better.
The 31-year-old has scored just three goals in 33 appearances for the Hammers since he moved to East London 10 months ago (Transfermarkt).
He doesn’t suit Moyes’s system one little bit and looks like he’s well past it at Premier League level.
Ings has absolutely no pace, rarely wins a physical battle and even when he has been presented with half decent goalscoring chances, he has just snatched at them.
The experienced striker could still forge a decent career for himself, maybe in the Championship or with a relegation threatened Premier League side who like to play with two up top.
The simple fact of the matter is that Danny Ings is not only not suited to West Ham United’s playing style, but he also isn’t good enough to be in our squad. If anything, he’s just blocking highly talented teenager Divin Mubama’s path to regular first-team minutes.
Ings has been a decent striker throughout his career, but Moyes convincing the owners to pay £12 million to bring him to the London Stadium is now looking like an absolutely disastrous move.
