The West Ham players have been training really hard during the international break, and now all of our players are back from representing their respective countries.

The likes of Lucas Paqueta have at Rush Green throughout the entire two-week break though, and the Brazilian has been in fine form during training.

Another first-teamer who didn’t represent his country over the past couple of weeks was James Ward-Prowse. Hammers boss David Moyes brought him to the London Stadium for around £30 million in the summer transfer window.

West Ham training video shows Lucas Paqueta in fine form

The Brazilian was loving life during a training session at Rush Green this week.

And at one point, he taught new signing Ward-Prowse a serious lesson after accelerating past him and scoring with a superb finish (3:52 into the YouTube video):

That is absolute class from the 26-year-old, and the West Ham staff can be heard shouting ‘brilliant Lucas’ in the background.

What a player we have on our hands, and you really have got to feel sorry for Ward-Prowse in that clip above!

Hopefully we see Paqueta at his very best for the entirety of the season. It must be hard for him with the betting investigation rumbling on in the background but since all of that came to light, he has looked totally unfazed.

The West Ham training video that emerged yesterday shows how happy he is behind the scenes as well. And that will be vitally important moving forward, if he is to be at his best on match-days.
