The 19-year-old is very highly rated at the London Stadium.

And it’s little wonder as to why.

The teenager has bagged four goals and six assists in just 13 games for West Ham’s under-21s and under-23s so far this season.

David Moyes will be delighted to have Ashby coming through the ranks. The young Scot really is a very special talent.

He was on form for the Hammers’ youth team once again on Tuesday night in the Papa John’s Trophy during a 2-0 win against Gillingham.

He assisted our first goal scored by Thierry Nevers and scored our second.
