West Ham fans have taken to Twitter tonight to react to the performance of Ben Johnson against Manchester City.

The Hammers played host to Man City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup tonight at the London Stadium.
City boss Pep Guardiola fielded an incredibly strong side with Cole Palmer and Zack Steffen the only two players in the starting XI who aren’t first-team regulars.
Meanwhile, West Ham manager David Moyes chose somewhat of a mix and match team.
Considering the fact that we were playing against one of the best sides on the planet, however, if not the best, the boys did really well.
Ben Johnson has been one of West Ham’s stand-out performers in recent weeks.
What a brilliant young talent he is.
At just 21, Johnson is one of the best young players to come through our academy in recent years.

The Hammers right-back had his hands full with Raheem Sterling all night.
He coped with the Man City star comfortably though.
If the 21-year-old carries on like this, Vladimir Coufal will have his work cut-out trying to force his way back in the side.
