Manchester City insider names West Ham player Pep Guardiola really admirers
Manchester Evening News’ Chief Manchester City writer Stuart Brennan sat down to speak with Football.London’s Tom Clark ahead of tomorrow night’s Carabao Cup clash.
Brennan responded when asked which West Ham player Guardiola is particularly wary of:

“He is a big admirer of Declan Rice who is a serious threat to the midfield dominance City like to assert early in games.”
It will be interesting to see whether Dec actually plays tomorrow night.
The 22-year-old is surely in line for a much-needed rest considering how much football he has played for club and country over the past 18 months or so.
Much will depend on whether Alex Kral is back and available for selection after testing positive for Covid.
