“He [Moyes] is very easy to work with, proper person and certainly one of the best managers I’ve worked with in my 27 years in football. I’m so pleased for him as he’s worked so hard. He’s had his down days, but seeing him come into the boardroom after the victory yesterday was fantastic. He got a guard of honour as he walked into the boardroom. It was fantastic.”

That really is great to hear.

Moyes has managed to completely transform West Ham both on and off the pitch in just under two years.

We’ve gone from relegation fodder to genuine top four challengers.

It really is quite incredible.
